Nothing wrong with Swiss Army Utility Men (as long as they're productive) - that's what we're going to do with Torreyes (great pick up) - let him play SS, 3B, 2B - give Segura, Didi, Bohm rest when need be....

Was up in Acadia National Park (with about 2 days in Portland beforehand). My first time ever in Maine, pretty beautiful place, although I typically don't travel in the summertime and I was quickly reminded as to why. Still, it's always great to get lost in a national park. My wife and I did a bunch of hikes (including a few with our dog), biked about 25 miles a day on the carriage roads, saw the sunrise and sunset from Cadillac Mountain, and drank tons of incredible local beer and ate lobster like it was going out of style. Basically, a perfect vacation! Ever been?

klawrencio79 eagles nest in brewer maine is where i had the best lobster roll. Looks a little too mayonnaise-y for my tastes, but the lobster pieces themselves look excellent! One thing I don't like is when they finely chop the meat to hide the fact that it's all tail, and loaded with other crap to make it look like more than it is. I had 5 in total on my trip. The best one I had was at this place Eventide Oyster Co. in Portland, which was just a phenomenal little restaurant that had a unique twist on a lot of traditional New England seafood fare. Their lobster roll was unlike any other I've had - it was warm (I prefer cold generally) but was served on a bao bun, rather than a hot dog roll. It also had this furikake based sauce on it, in addition to the butter on the bun. It was something else. A little small, but this was a place where two people would get 6-8 dishes and share them. They had oysters that were A+ and in addition to the mignonette, they served it with shaved, frozen kombucha which was lovely. They had tuna tartate with a melon garnish, a peanut noodle salad, basically everything had a slightly Asian undertone. It was fucking awesome. Best meal of the trip. We had some other great lobster rolls, more of the traditional variety, but the best one I had after Eventide was at a random, hole-in-the-wall diner we popped into on the south side of Mount Desert Island (south of Bar Harbor). They had this gargantuan lobster roll that was loaded with the freshest of meat. I'd drive back right now for one.

If they have an infield of Cronenworth-Frazier-Tatis-Machado, that is four All Stars from this year. That is until Preller makes five other deals before the deadline.

Yeah, I'm a butter over mayonnaise lobster roll person myself, but I'm not going to be too picky - - it's lobster either way. My honeymoon was in Maine. I did a little too much lobster bisque taste testing - - my right big toe was not a fan!

Basically, a perfect vacation! Ever been? What were lobster prices like? I heard that in Pennsylvania the prices were way higher than normal, but I'm hoping to get some when I get to Rhode Island in a couple of weeks. A few people talked to us about that and I've heard that before around here in NY. Basically, it's just a surge in demand more than anything so it's driving up prices and with supply chain issues everywhere, it's difficult to satisfy the demand once you leave the shores. It should be fine in Rhode Island, and I never went anywhere in Maine (or here, for that matter) where it wasn't available. We had whole lobster twice, it was about $70 (for 1.5 lbs) in Portland, and then we went to a lobster farm in the southwest harbor of Acadia where it was about half the price. It was also "soft shells" which was incredible - it's the season in which they molt. It's not like soft shell crab where you eat the whole thing, but rather you can crack the whole thing with your bare hands and the meat is insanely sweet. If you come across it, I definitely recommend it, although to be honest I don't know when the season ends. For lobster rolls, they were basically $30 on average throughout Maine.

That has to be the move, but they are going to have to give incentives for him to be taken.

Per Pirates Beat Writer Jason Mackey - 'Sounds like talks are very much active on the Richard Rodriguez front. Blue Jays and Phillies are two teams Iβm hearing.'

Phightens / Buccos Trade Phils land Lefty Tyler Anderson for 2 Single A prospects Per tribelive.com - 'In return, the Pirates acquired a pair of Class A players who are ranked among the Philliesβ top 30 prospects by Baseball America: right-handed pitcher Cristian Hernandez and catcher Abrahan Gutierrez.'
This guy sounds like he eats a$$ - ERA well over 4 every year he's been in the bigs except for 2016 -
But I have the utmost confidence he's going to turn things around and be a valuable contributor for us

WTF -
Per Buccos Beat Writer Jason Mackey 13 minutes ago -
'What in the world. So Tyler Anderson, wearing Pirates gear, is throwing in the bullpen.'
Baseball Insider Jon Heyman piggybacking on Mackey -
'Looks like Anderson is still a Pirate'

Hey Nuts -
Per MASN -
'The Phillies have been scouting the Orioles with an eye toward the bullpen, per @masnroch.
Paul Fry and Tanner Scott are attracting the most interest, while Cole Sulser and Dillon Tate are also possibilities to be dealt.'

At 54-36, the White Sox should be buyers. A solid .600 is the goal for this point in the season, and with losing Eloy, Robert, and Madrigal I am very happy to be .600. Eloy is getting healthy, on assignment to Triple A now. He will be, by far, the best addition we can make. Robert maybe a month later. I would love some relief pitching and one of the Martes. Fraizer and the big relief pitcher in Pittsburgh would be great, and Trevor Story is a pipe dream. Both Martes are gone. Fraizer is gone. Relief pitcher from Pittsburg is gone. Now I have to hope for Craig Kimbrel and someone like Schoop, if Story or Baez can't be had reasonably.
