Hey Nuts - Per MASN - 'The Phillies have been scouting the Orioles with an eye toward the bullpen, per @masnroch.
Paul Fry and Tanner Scott are attracting the most interest, while Cole Sulser and Dillon Tate are also possibilities to be dealt.'Roch is generally clueless…⚾️

Looks a little too mayonnaise-y for my tastes, but the lobster pieces themselves look excellent! One thing I don't like is when they finely chop the meat to hide the fact that it's all tail, and loaded with other crap to make it look like more than it is. I had 5 in total on my trip. The best one I had was at this place Eventide Oyster Co. in Portland, which was just a phenomenal little restaurant that had a unique twist on a lot of traditional New England seafood fare. Their lobster roll was unlike any other I've had - it was warm (I prefer cold generally) but was served on a bao bun, rather than a hot dog roll. It also had this furikake based sauce on it, in addition to the butter on the bun. It was something else. A little small, but this was a place where two people would get 6-8 dishes and share them. They had oysters that were A+ and in addition to the mignonette, they served it with shaved, frozen kombucha which was lovely. They had tuna tartate with a melon garnish, a peanut noodle salad, basically everything had a slightly Asian undertone. It was fucking awesome. Best meal of the trip. We had some other great lobster rolls, more of the traditional variety, but the best one I had after Eventide was at a random, hole-in-the-wall diner we popped into on the south side of Mount Desert Island (south of Bar Harbor). They had this gargantuan lobster roll that was loaded with the freshest of meat. I'd drive back right now for one. Yeah, I'm a butter over mayonnaise lobster roll person myself, but I'm not going to be too picky - - it's lobster either way. My honeymoon was in Maine. I did a little too much lobster bisque taste testing - - my right big toe was not a fan! Mayo is the way or champions.

Eduardo Escobar to the Brewers in exchange for infielder Alberto Ciprian and outfielder Cooper Hummel. Adding the slugging 3B should help the Brew Crew's offense add a bit of pop. Nice addition.

Milwaukee wins another title this year? Their offense has been pretty anemic, but they have the magic formula to surprise people - a trio of excellent starters in Woodruff, Burnes and Peralta, to go along with one of the game's best bullpens anchored by psycho Josh Hader, with Devin Williams, Brent Suter and Brad Boxburger in front of him. Williams got off to a rough start in April, but has been solid since May 1. I still don't see them being deep enough to take on any of the teams coming out of the West, but you never know. If Yelich were to magically wake up in the playoffs, the Brewers could be terrifying.

I could see the Brewers going on a World Series run - their pitching has been great, both starters and relievers, and if their offense heats up some they are very scary. Frankly I have no idea who will come out of the NL on top, but I think the Brewers have as good a chance as anyone.

Gallo to the Yankees for "5 or 6 prospects" but none of their top three.
Let's see how this goes.

Keith Law is reporting that the Rangers got six players for Gallo, but none are on the Yankees 40-man roster. Quantity but "eh" quality.

Another Kingman-esque bat isn’t going to help them a lot. I was surprised to see that they are only 2.5 games out of the second wildcard slot - - it seems like they are worse than that. Gallo walks a ton and plays good defense, so in that way he's an improvement on Kingman. Right now the only position players who have better WARs than him for the season are Tatis Jr, Semien, Guerrero Jr, and Muncy (not counting the pitching part of Ohtani).

He is having a better year that I thought. I'm wondering if he will walk as much in the Yanks lineup.
To my thinking, if I ran the Yanks, I would have rather got Kendall Graveman than Joey Gallo. Maybe he best reliever on the market, including Kimbrel, Graveman would have solidified a glaring weakness. Gallo fill another need, a lefty bat but the bullpen is bringing the team down. But Gallo is a bigger headline

Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo not in the starting lineup today for the Cubs. Rizzo and Kimbrel to the Red Sox rumors have been hot. Rizzo fills the gaping hole at first and Kimbrel can be useful, just as long at they don't cost too much.
A few rumors about the Sox being in on Scherzer. Not sure about this. He will be pricey. Garrett Richards has to get out of the rotation tout suite, but Chris Sale will be back soon

Mets supposedly about to announce a huge deal on a position player. Kris Bryant? Trevor Story? Wilmer Difo?
