Happy for Gabe Kapler  If the Giants don't collapse, this is one of the most overachieving (for lack of a better term) team in my lifetime. Looked on as a solid 3rd place team, just because the D-Backs and Rox are garbage. Now in 1st over the big spenders, Dodgers and Padres. And with what? Yeah, Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford are having great seasons. But Mike Yaz isn't. Their pitching? Kevin Gausman, who looked like a true draft dud. O's rushed him, he bombed in Atlanta and Cincy. Took a cut to go to Frisco and he finally became the 4th overall pick. It happens, look at Lucas Giolito. But Anthony DeSclafini? He was a disaster in Cincy. Now 10-5, 3.10 ERA (7.22 last year) and 1.041 WHIP (1.693 last year). Even the manager was a dud, but he never really got a chance in Philly.
The Giants gave the Moon for Bryant. Joey Bart and LaMonte Wade. Ow Bad info, nevermind

Padres laying a big egg Gonna miss seeing him with the Jays, & yet there really wasn't any place to play him in the field. Bichette will want a long term contract tied to long term place at short.

Nationals infielder Starlin Castro has been suspended for 30 games without pay and fined an undisclosed amount for violating MLB's policy on domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
Nats will release him.

By “evil”’ you mean “trash”, right? Although Kimbrel and Tepera from the Cubs boosts it significantly. What's wrong with Liam Hendricks and Michael Kopech? Both have been very good
Those guys are good, but the rest of the bullpen struggles mightily.
