Couldn't even finish Infamous.

Infamous. Never understood all the euphoria regarding Capote. I found Infamous better acted and the overall story better told.

Infamous, easily. Capote was as dull as ditchwater. Infamous went absurdly over-the-top in some sequences but was at least engaging. Hoffman was doing a bad impression of Truman Capote, Toby Jones on the other hand was Capote.

Infamous, by far. Toby Jones put much more life, mirth, and likability into his character.

Toby Jones nails the impression to an almost eerie degree. While I love Hoffman, he looks stiff and ill-at-ease in the role by comparison. They should've given him an Oscar for The Master or Synecdoche, New York, instead.

Toby Jones breathing life into the character.

Infamous. Hoffman was a great actor but he was miscast as Capote, while Jones was spot-on.

I think Capote's the better movie overall, but Jones's portrayal in Infamous was more accurate.

Capote for me, and I loved Philip Seymour Hoffman acting, for the record.

For the record, in my opinion Richard Brooks's In Cold Blood is the definitive film on the subject.

I'll say it again and again, nobody has ever done a better job of mimicry than Toby Jones in Infamous, for my money.
