I don't know if I can do five, but I'm sure Superman and Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 can be mentioned for me. Maverick is a fun western comedy.

Lethal Weapon 3/Lethal Weapon 4 Not much of a Richard Donner fan, but I will always be immensely grateful to him for the first 2 Lethal Weapon movies. Yeah, they are the apex of the buddy cop movie. There’s just a magic with Gibson and Glover. The first is one of the most fun and likable movies ever made and it perfectly balances humor, drama and action. Gibson and Glover have the greatest on-screen chemistry of all time and then 2 throws Joe Pesci into the mix. It is almost too much chemistry to handle. "They fuck you at the drive through." My thoughts exactly btw, though Leo alludes to malicious intent. Those drive-through people just want to ruin your day and hope you forget to check your food before going home.

Have not re-watched the Lethal Weapon franchise, in some years now. However, the first one is a classic action film, one I saw many times over back in the mid 90s and also enjoyed the sequel, but sadly the more comedy filled third and fourth chapter, I thought were anything but great, far away in fact.
Might give them all a go some weekend, and should probably have included Lethal Weapon 2, as it was not far behind the first one, at least in the entertainment value, but I did revisit films like Superman, Ladyhawke (I really enjoyed that one) and Scrooged last year, and all three deserves top be among those I liked the most, where as The Omen barely beats out Lethal Weapon 2, but it might change, when I re-watch the latter again.
