Having just recently seen Red Rock West, I gotta say it was surely the better film, where as U-Turn I remember being impressed at, because of all the crazy figures showing up, along with a truly stunning Jennifer Lopez, before she really hit off and turned into the whole JLO brand. However, when I revisited it again, years ago, it did feel like a bit too much of a "Tarantino" wannabe, and I got more annoyed than amused, my rating ended up with a very "kind" 5/10, probably due to my great teenager memories of Jennifer Lopez, but the film itself, I thought had just not held up as much as I had hoped for.
Red Rock West however, I rated with an 8/10, probably closer to 7,5/10, but loved the cast and performances.

U Turn - Great cast with Sean Penn, Billy Bob Thornton, Nick Nolte, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jon Voight.
