His last movie before this to get a wide theatrical release was I think Kick-Ass (2010) or Joe (2013).
Excluding Snowden, which he just has a cameo in.

No a cameo would be like his Superman in Teen Titans Go To The Movies. There are people who consider Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder an extended cameo. I don't, but there are people who do. McConaughey I do consider a cameo. A cameo to me is a small part played by an actor who is very famous and is normally lead actor. Brad Pitt is an extended cameo in 12 years a Slave imo. Now to be fair, I stopped paying attention to Into the Spider-Verse shortly after Cage came into it. That is during the time when I just stopped caring or being interested in anything that was happening in the movie.

Interesting. I might check it out. It was a shame that Mandy wasn’t screened more widely. It was a very good film. It screened near me but only for one or two nights if I remember correctly. I wasn’t able to catch it.
