Training Camp starts in 9 Days -
Latest edition of the 2021 Power Rankings are out -
1. Chiefs 2. Bucs 3. Bills 4. Ravens 5. Packers 6. Rams 7. Saints 8. Browns 9. 49ers 10. Seahawks 11. Colts 12. Titans 13. Steelers 14. Dolphins 15. Cardinals 16. Pats 17. Cowboys 18. Falcons 19. Bears 20. Washington Football Team 21. Raiders 22. Broncos 23. Chargers 24. Vikings 25. Panthers 26. Giants 27. Bengals 28. Jets 29. Jags 30. Eagles 31. Texans 32. Lions
Pack are going to plummet like 20 spots when AROD announces he's not playing this year and demands a trade. Heard reports on ESPN he'd report to camp with an understanding he'll be traded after the season. Don't think that would go over too well and can never see that happening. I don't know about Pack fans - but I'd never support a player who was just playing out the string until he left (per his demands). Slap in the face to the organization, city and fans.
Too High - Bills, Packers, Rams, Saints, 49ers, Dolphins
Too Low - Cards, Cowboys, Chargers, Giants, Bengals, Eagles

Seahwaks at 10. I think that's fair. I was disappointed with our performance in the 2nd part of the last season. But hoping to see improvements his years. Let's bring some Wilson magic.

Too high - Texans. They'll be lucky to win a single game. The Lions are definitely more talented.

Good god the Saints are way too high. They are not very good now that Brees has retired, certainly not better than the Browns, Titans, Colts, Seahawks etc. I have no idea if whoever’s doing this is just clueless or if they are just basing it on last years records, but the Saints shouldn’t even be in the top half of the power rankings, I think there’s a great chance they finish last in the NFC South, their offense is going to suck.
The Pats are a bit too high as well, though they will be better this year.
The Vikings are way too low, and I think the Chargers should be higher than the Raiders and Broncos.
I agree with the Lions being in last, their roster absolutely sucks, I mean their top WR is either Breshad Perriman or Quintez Cephus, that’s fucking horrid. On the off chance Watson happens to play for them, the Texans will be okay, if he doesn’t, and he likely won’t, their QB situation will be the worst in the NFL but their overall roster is better than that of the Lions and Jets. The Jets should be second to last, their defense is basically talentless.

Zeke in Beast Mode
#17?
If the defense is at least 1/2 better than it was last year - Top 10, no?
Would like to see him regain his form and be back at the top of the league again with Barkley (healthy and back to form) being -
1A - Zeke
1B - Saquon

How? Have you seen their roster? The defense has nobody. It’s filled with worse than mediocre special teamers. Who on the offense is going to carry this team to a better record than the Jets or Lions? Watson had an MVP-worthy year last season and the Texans won 4 games. How much worse do you think they’ll be with the worst QB room in the league? If anything they’ve downgraded at coaching staff and O’Brien was already terrible. One of the most dysfunctional organizations in NFL history with Jack Easterby involved. Anyone who has this team finishing with multiple wins is honestly overrating them.

For a team that was drafting 4th last year, having the Falcons at 18 is VERY bullish.
Meanwhile, I don't think the Vikings and Chargers are drafting in the top ten next year. I'd put money on the Chargers having a better record than both the Raiders and Broncos.

I think the Steelers and Saints should be lower. Move the Saints down to 18 and the Steelers to 19 and just leave the rest of the top 17 as is.

The Texans are bad, but the Lions are worse IMO - they have literally no talent anywhere, and the Jets defense is the worst in the NFL IMO. Just my opinion. I would have the Texans at 30, the Jets at 31, and the Lions at 32.

Bears are too high and Vikings are too low imo. I think the Vikes are currently the #2 team in the North unless Fields just balls out which I wouldn't bet on right away. Bears are just allergic to quality QB play.
I would rank the Lions ahead of the Texans for Dan Campbell's ankle biting alone.

And I'd take TJ Hockenson and D'Andre Swift over any skill player that Houston has. They need to trade Watson, Cooks, Tunsil and start it all over again. Bill O'Brien might as well have salted the earth when he left.

If Rodgers doesn’t play for GB - and I don’t think he will - then the Vikings become the top team in the North. I really like the Vikings and think they are a strong, much improved team and they are way too low in the rankings.

I actually disagree about Goff, he led the Rams to the playoffs in 3 of his 4 years as the starter, and even got them to a Super Bowl appearance. His numbers are pretty good, as is his record. I don’t get the Goff hate. But the cupboard is beyond bare in Detroit, like I say, their receiving unit is a joke and arguably the worst receiving unit I’ve ever seen in the NFL. At least the Texans have a couple of good players at skill positions - Cooks is a very good receiver, and they added in Philip Lindsay and Mark Ingram at RB which will help their rushing game. Let’s face it - both teams are going to suck, but I just think the Texans are slightly better than the Lions. But they are both god awful.

Their schedule looks pretty favorable to start the season - hopefully they swing 2-1
September -
Denver Washington Atlanta
Next 3 in October get tougher though - Saints, Cowboys, Rams.....

Maybe. It's hard to say with a lot of those teams. In a post-Brees-era are the Saints still a tough win the way we thought? What does anyone make of the Rams at this point? Do we buy that the Cowboys are really any good? All are up in the air. Same with those first 3; Atlanta seems to be hot and cold from season to season, Denver always seems to be good enough everywhere else on the roster to just hinge on whether or not their current scrub QB has a decent day... Washington is likely to be a mess though. As usual... although you can't count Fitzpatrick out on any given day. And who knows what the Giants are? They seemed to be improving towards the end of last year without a real running back, and they got some protection back and added some high profile weapons. As always, we'll just have to wait and see. The Giants and Eagles don't meet until Thanksgiving weekend. On one hand that feels really late for a first division game, but on the other hand we'll have a good idea of where they stand by then.

I agree about the Rams and Saints - I don't get all of the over the top love for them at this point
But I think (hope) the Cowboys will be vastly improved. Their offense was fine - banking (hoping) on their defense being better. I like their 1st Round Draft Pick - LB Micah Parsons. Of course you can't count on a First Round pick changing the look of your entire defense - but they brought in Dan Quinn who supposedly has brought players in who fit his scheme. 8 of 11 players they picked in this years draft were defensive players. I just can't see them being as putrid as last year. Curious to see what Dak looks like too coming off injury
Cowboys 12-5 Eagles 11-6 Giants 9-8 Washington 8-9
These are my early projections. Birds could overtake Dallas for the top spot before the season starts...........

I hope its not because you base your opinion on ESPN. I am 99% certain Rodgers is the GB QB in 2021. Management trades him after (2021 season) which I believe sadly was the plan after drafting Love. I think Rodgers simply wants input on where he gets traded and not treated like Favre did. (Favre wanted to be traded to TB but GB traded him to NYJ). In today's game I think Rodgers has more say so in terms of where he goes but GB is so backwards in the times they don't see it.
