I think it's the U-23 team with only two or three older players allowed. Still, very surprising to see Mexico beat France so comprehensively. |

If the Olympics get canceled again, i don`t think we will get a Tokyo Olympics at all, and the next summer Olympics will be in Paris in 2024. New York should host mini Olympics - back to the roots. Next year in September...when I plan to visit the East coast. But yes: If they cancel the games in Tokyo again, then it is over for Tokyo. And in consideration of the pan-European EURO 2021 a disgrace.

As always with the Coverage of the Olympics in Australia - if an Australian isn’t in it and it isn’t gymnastics - good luck watching it. I’ll stick to clips and highlights on the net mostly. TBH, this is the least excited I’ve been for an Olympics probably ever….. I've got a Telstra wifi dongle that wifis streaming services to the tv. A laptop with hdmi should do as well. Channel 7 promises 45 free streaming channels. I watched the Matildas beat N Z last night. Impressed with the HD resolution. Japan must be supplying excellent quality cameras at the venues and channel 7 isnt choking the streamed display..

It is like the world cup without the crowds. Team USA just got thrashed by Sweden 3-0.

Athens is the original home of the modern games. Panathenaic Stadium is fun to visit if you're ever in Athens, though there are much more interesting things to see there of course. Just close your eyes when you aren't near anything historical, because the city is a dump.

And weren't they help in Olympia, not Athens? And what about Delphi? At least they ignite the fire there...
