I'm guessing Nostalgia Critic is gonna get the most votes. I remember thinking Nostalgia Chick/Lindsey Ellis made pretty good videos (though she's not it anymore though). I also liked a lot of Phelous's videos (he's a member right?)

I don't watch NC as much as I used to. I watch Cinema Snob more than anything else on there. Who else is left after the...unpleasantness from a few years back?

I used to be against Doug Walker because of what I heard about him and the whole Change The Channel debacle. Knowing Jewario was a kid diddlier or whatever did kinda hurt because I really liked him and was very sad to learn when he passed and how. Linkara is ok too. Honestly they’re all pretty good.

Out of all the people who were members of Channel Awesome, Lindsay Ellis has the most professionally made content. It’s no wonder that she’s ashamed of the videos she made as the Nostalgia Chick, because the difference between those videos and her video essays are night and day.
The Nostalgia Critic is honestly a little embarrassing at this point. The videos were seen as hilarious back in the late 2000s/early 2010s, but they haven’t progressed much since then. Sure, the production values have improved since the early days, but even then, they still look fairly amateurish. In general, the “angry critic on a couch” genre of Internet videos that were kickstarted by the Angry Video Game Nerd has mostly gone out style.

I used to like a lot of them back in the day. Some of them flew off the handle (Kyle Kallgren, Spoony) or just don't produce content I'm interested in anymore (Todd in the Shadows, Phelous). In the case of Nostalgia Critic, he never recovered after his premature retirement and his reviews became a bad sketch show.
I'd say Lindsay is overall the best, then and especially now. I don't agree with all of her takes, but there's still more thought and skill in one of her videos than 10 of the rest.

I'll answer the question in terms of content rather than who they are as people (and whether they deserve to be supported or not).
Lindsay Ellis and Mathew Buck are very knowledgable and well-spoken and they have likable presences, but I don't remember ever loving any of their videos. The only Brad Jones videos I've enjoyed are his unscripted reviews of truly awful movies and whenever he binge-watches a show and gives his thoughts on every single episode. I don't know, there's something hypnotic about following every step of a person's TV journey for hours. I wouldn't call Lewis Lovhaug or Allison Pregler favorites based on their overall content, but HISTORY OF POWER RANGERS and the original CHARMED series reviews are among my all-time favorite YT video series. Talking about Doug Walker is complicated, because he makes different types of videos. The quality of the analysis and the humor in the reviews as the Nostalgia Critic varies a lot. You can get a great video one week and a terrible video the next week. The first-time reactions can be more entertaining than seeing his perform, but it depends on how bad the movie is. The editorials and the videos where he talks about dark cartoons are the only ones that are consistently good. You can tell that he prioritizes criticism over comedy (instead of the other way around) and he feels passionate about the subject.
All things considered, I'd say Todd Nathanson is my favorite. An odd choice for someone like me who prefers movie/TV reviews over music reviews. What can I say? I find pretty much all of his videos entertaining and insightful. And he's got the best comedic timing out of this group.

Now its just a chore to watch. It looks like he wants to retire the character but its making him money.

The Cinema Snob/Brad Jones is the only one I like now.
I was a huge fan of Doug/Nostalgia Critic when I first found him in 2009. I could not wait till the next episode. But over time it got less funny and when he rebooted himself with all the sketches it even less funny. Now its practically unwatchable. I have not seen an episode since The Wall.
Plus the controversy (Change the Channel) didnt help.

He made a new show called Demo Reel, but it ended up being not very good and fans kept asking him to just bring back Nostalgia Critic. Demo Reel is where the skits came from. Nostalgia Critic today is basically just Demo Reel 2.0

The song in the film Another Brick in the Wall dealt with child abuse in school. The Critics response was "get a damn pair of balls". I guess blame the victim humor was in then. He got some backlash for that. Plus the made a soundtrack special from that episode. Then they got rid of it because it was causing Channel Awesome too much embarrassment.

I was always a big Cinema Snob fan back in the day. I actually was watching him before he joined TGWTG. But honestly, all the drama really kinda left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and I haven't really watched him or any of the others in a couple years.

The song in the film Another Brick in the Wall dealt with child abuse in school. The Critics response was "get a damn pair of balls". I guess blame the victim humor was in then. Well, this parody song wasn't saying that the character was to blame for the bad things that teacher did; it was saying that school isn't so bad and writing a song about it feels whiny and pandering. No, that's still not a proper interpretation (he even makes a connection with the American school system in present day despite that scene taking place in England during the '40s/'50s).
