Where does Dame end up?
Top Sports Book's Odds below.
Bets are void if Dame stays with Portland
Sixers +200 Knicks +300 Heat +400 Warriors +500 Clipps +700 Lakers +700 Celts + 1100 Rapts +1400 Thunder +1400 Suns +2000 Nuggs +2500 Pels +2500 Mavs +3500 Grizz +3500 Hawks +5000 Magic +5000 Wiz +5000 Rockets +5000 TWolves +5000 Jazz +5000 Bucks +6600 Spurs +6600 Nets +8000 Hornets +8000 Bulls +8000 Cavs +8000
I've seen numerous other Books out there there with the Knicks #1 - which would be nice - for New York to finally have another superstar after all of these years at MSG.
Question is why would Dame want to jump ship from one organization who can't get to the next level to a situation in New York where they're no where near ready to compete for a Chip - especially if they're giving up a ton of their assets to get him - plan of his if he does want to play in MSG may be to try and attract other superstars to play with him eventually - he's 31 though.
I think he's in win now mode - makes the most sense to join a winner........

I'd love to see Dame as a Knick Just really don't get his thought process though if his goal is to win a title - it's like leaving one mediocre team that can't get over the hump for another If they trade for him - they lose all of their assets (or a lot of them) Unless the plan is he gets traded there - then he attracts free agents to New York City during the free agent class of 2022 - if that's the plan - I like it - would love for another Super Team in New York City - wars with Nets would be epic theather Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer came out with a report yesterday that these teams have been the most aggressive in seeking a Dame trade thus far - Heat, Kings, Rockets, Knicks, Sixers. Rockets? That completely through me for a loop. Didn't think he fit their rebuild timeline (he's 31) and I can't see the Kings putting together a respectable package without including Fox (which I guess would make sense to include him in the package since they both play the '1' - unless the plan would be for them to see what a Dame/Fox backcourt looked like). Not being a homer - but I don't think any of these teams could beat a Sixers offer.
Miami is a bit intriguing pairing him with Butler- but I don't think they'd like to include Bam - probably Herro, Robinson, picks, pick swaps
