There's a thread on the Music board about what classic rock bands are hated the most.
I made a post about how I don't like the band Kiss and now the Admin is apparently really mad at me.
In case I am banned, please check out that thread and see how you feel about it.
Remember those glorious days when you could have an opinion?

I really hope you don’t get banned, you’re an awesome poster even if I disagree with a lot of your politics, and I just checked out that thread on the music board, I don’t know why the Admin is bent out of shape. And I agree, KISS sucks, they are a shitty band that would be ignored if it wasn’t for their costumes, one of the most overrated bands of all time.

For the record I have no opinion on KISS. Simply haven't heard much of their music.

I honestly don't know why anyone would even care about someone else's opinion on music.
Live and let listen. We're all different.
Now when people ignore facts in order to believe what they want to believe, even if that means believing a coke'd out pillow salesman, now that I have some concerns about.

I was dragged to a concert in the mid 80s when they were in their "Lick It Up"/Hard Rock phase. No makeup, no showmanship, no 70s hits, no Beth. Just very loud boring crap. I believe something called Helix was their opening act. |

I did like "Christine, Sixteen". Other than that, meh. I like Beth, New York Groove by Ace Frehley and Garth Brooks cover of Hard Luck Woman. |

KISS is mostly a joke. I did see them about 10 years ago. Nothing special.

I don’t get offended by others opinions on music, I don’t care if they dislike artists I like, I mean I love rock music and it’s various forms, particularly alternative/indie rock and classic rock, but I can’t stand rap music or country music and I dislike most pop music, but I have nothing against people who do like those genres. I don’t get people who get offended over others music likes and dislikes.

I got a lot of grief for saying I hated Journey a while ago. I do, other than Wheel in the Sky, I don’t have a bit of use for the band. But I didn’t get banned

That was clearly when the admin made the "Frehley" not "Freely" comment. The next escalation was the admin saying "piss off" after which neither particularly distinguished themselves, but the die had been cast. |
