Looks like it might be good. Maybe I'll check it out if it gets good enough reviews. Denis Villeneuve has had a good track record with his movies so far.

Honestly they should have made this an HBO series. The movie will likely not make enough money at the box office to make mor r

Well, for one thing it seems like the visuals in it are really good. Would be good to see it in a theater. I'm sure that when i watch it in the theater and see these great visual effects i'm gonna be like 'man I'm checkin out...' But i would only say that if i had some booze before watching it.

The orginal Dune was awful and flopped at the box office. This may not be that bad but I can't see it being a big hit. Chalamet is wrong for action roles.
They should have gone to Netlfix where box office doesn't matter.

Something is wrong with the humor in it. They say a joke that could be made today, but it's set in the year 20 thousand right? It would be like if there was a joke or something from medieval times and they said it today right? Same thing.

if Clash of the Titans had Perseus do a "knock knock" joke in the trailer when he goes into the Medusa lair--it kind of works against the mood of the fantasy setting.

I love how they have that cliched modern trailer noise sixteen seconds in.

Meh, I don't think it's a big deal.

Honestly they should have made this an HBO series. The movie will likely not make enough money at the box office to make mor r I tend to agree. I think at best it will be a moderate success at the box office. I really think the best thing to do is just make it an HBO MAX original and then give it like a very limited release in theaters. Make some type of deal with say Cinemark for that release for the a 15 day window or something like that.
