Interesting. I buy larger bottles of Soy Sauce, and they don't have the double spout. But, in makes sense.
YouTube has some videos of several such "Whys," about products.
On the tab of a pop-top can, there are two holes. If you want to drink from the can through a straw, fold the tab back over the opening, and insert the straw through one of those holes. This will anchor the straw in the can, and prevent the carbonation from shooting it up, and out of the can.
That's the only one that I can remember, right now.

Soy sauce is delicious but I try to use it sparingly as I get older.

Air flow. Tip gently. Don't complain. You learn that when you are despised for building infrastructure,laundry and restaurants. Splash too much vinegar and send your chips and fish back to the 200lb scotch person....... fucking cowards.
