I have trouble talking to people some times, and I need to talk about this big person. And I don't know how to do that without sounding rude or mean and I am not trying to be either .

Unless you are that person's physician, or other health/fitness advisor, you don't.
Why you would need to talk about this "big person." If he/she is a close friend, and asks you about personal thoughts, relative to weight/health, you talk to, him/her. Surely, you can do this with a friend, without being rude.

Why does it bother you if someone else is fat to begin with?

In the US the politically correct word is 'heavyset' but that might be too formal. 'Overweight' is better but still might not work. I'd say it depends on the social context as much as anything.

Ask him if he shops at the big and tall store. Ask him if he needs help putting his socks on. Buy him trash pickers and say it might help him pick stuff up off the floor that he accidentally dropped. Casually start a discussion about diet plans like Slimfast. Ask him what his favorite salad dressing is. Start talking about John Goodman and how unattractive he is. Say you went on a boat party but didn't invite him and then trail off unintelligibly. (Private jet works too) Say "don't you hate it when ypu weigh yourself and the scale breaks? "

People are asking me why do I need to call someone big.
Because someone helped me out at store and I did not get their name. I wanted to write in thanking them for their help. But I don't know how point them out. Without using that qualtifier .

And like I could not look at her name tag since it is like on her boob and I would look creepy trying to notice that. Maybe I can go back to the store and if I see her again I would just point her out the boss.

Hmmm. I don't quite believe that. But, if that's your story, stick to it.
Couldn't you simply have said: "Thank you. I'm (your name here), what is you name? I appreciate your help."
Name tags are, generally, worn on the upper front of the body. You can't look at them?

Does the other person not know? Or wouldnt they know them by name? Why bring physical trait into the conversation at all? maybe kd u tell us more we can helo you find the right word. like if you are a parent of said big person and want to talk to the coparent about your kid weight problems you would just say weight problems/ health concerns. If you need to desrcibe a person from a group to someone who deosnt know them you say “the bigger / heavy set girl/guy”.

The OP isn't saying they are gossiping about the person. The OP is talking about mentioning the person to another person. This happens a lot. If there is someone you don't remember their name from work and you are trying to find out their name from another co-worker. You have to describe the person in order for the other person to figure out who you are talking about.

Without using that qualtifier . omg do Not point her out by her weight. say what day/time/ register it was they helped you or something like that but stay away from physical description that just cant turn out well...in this case at least. if u MUST use short from the 3 u listed.

Oh that is a good idea. I know the time and the register she was on. That should give me what I need.

If you are going to talk about this person to someone else... Is the topic of conversation the person's weight? If not, does the person in question have any other distinguishing characteristics?
