I loved sweet stuff as a kid, but as an adult I only like it rare occasions. I prefer savory snacks.

Sweet & salty. Nature Valley makes a really good sweet & salty nut bar.

As a child, I much preferred sweet to salty or sour. Now I prefer the opposite. I assume humans' taste buds change over time.

You need a third option: both. Sometimes at the same time.

I'll always have a sweet tooth, but the older I get, I find I love savory foods. I usually have savory, followed by sweet, though, to be honest.

I don't like sweet at all. The few times I buy any type of candy, it's salty liquorice. I prefer crisps.

I agree with OrsonSwelles. Sometimes I prefer sweet, other times savory. However, nowadays when I eat something sweet, I prefer to follow it with something salty--does that count as savory?

You need a third option: both. Sometimes at the same time. Yes. The rise of sweet/savory candies and snacks point to a lot of people feeling the same way. I like snacks that have both. I put extra salt in my cookies lol. I don't even care for salt that much, and never add it to food except sweet stuff I bake. I just want both tastes.
