Tom Brady suffered a football-related concussion last year that nobody knew about -- and he secretly gets concussions all the time -- so says his wife, Gisele.
The supermodel appeared on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday and expressed frustration with Tom's health ... particularly the brain injuries he suffers on the field.
"Football ... like he had a concussion last year," Gisele said.
"I mean he has concussions pretty much every [year] ... I mean, we don't talk about. But he does have concussions."
This could be a big deal ... considering Brady was not listed on the NFL injury list for a concussion once in 2016. It begs the question ... was the injury covered up to keep him on the field?
In the NFL, if a player is diagnosed with a concussion during a game, he is NOT allowed to return to the field for the remainder of that game. He may return the following week at the discretion of his doctor.
"I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for your body to go through like, through that kind of aggression like, all the time–that cannot be healthy for you, right?"
"I mean I’m planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we’re like 100, I hope."

So he gets concussions all the time but the only playing time he's missed was the 4-game suspension for cheating? Sounds like the Pats are doing some shady stuff with the concussion protocol and falsifying their medical reports.

Here we go, time for all the haers to get out their Delategate riot gear and claim that the Pats cheated their way to the SuperBowl.
Lets say for a moment there is even a small bit of truth to this. Do you know who is to blame? The corrupt commissioner, it is his job to take care of player safety and if Brady is getting away with not being diagnosed, there are certainly others. Now watch this asshat start a full investigation and fine the Pats another 1st round pick and continue to ignore how the Seahawks coach admitted to falsifying injury reports and hold the Pats accountable when the source comes from an interview with a players wife!

The fucking Cheathawks are the worst. Plus, anybody who thinks that the commissioner or the owners give the slightest shit about player safety is an idiot.

Lets say for a moment there is even a small bit of truth to this. Do you know who is to blame? The corrupt commissioner You're going to blame the Commissioner for the Patriots not following the concussion protocols and falsifying their medical reports? it is his job to take care of player safety That's why the Commissioner had the concussion protocols put into place to prevent concussed players from going back into a game before they're medically cleared. If the city posted a speed limit signs and put speed bumps on the street outside an elementary school, but some driver still drives 40 MPH through that street and kills a child, are you going to blame the city for the driver not obeying the law and killing the child? if Brady is getting away with not being diagnosed, there are certainly others. So now you're back to the old excuse that if the Patriots are doing shady stuff, then everybody else must be doing it too, even though you have absolutely no evidence to support your wild claim. Moreover, you've repeatedly claim that the NFL had no proof that Brady cheated (even though there was plenty of proof and an unbiased federal appellate court judge even said on the record in open court that "the evidence of ball tampering is compelling"), yet you quickly accuse other teams of not following the concussion protocol like the Patriots when you have no proof that other teams aren't following the concussion protocol. That's hypocrisy! hold the Pats accountable when the source comes from an interview with a players wife! So you're saying that you know more about Brady's health than the 1 person in the entire world who is closest to Brady?

You're going to blame the Commissioner for the Patriots not following the concussion protocols and falsifying their medical reports? Yes, it is ultimately the commissioners responsibility to put the steps in place to prevent it, if those steps are not working, then the steps are flawed If the signs are posted but nothing is done to enforce it then yes, I am going to blame the city for creating an unsafe environment No evidence? The head coach of the Seahawks specifically stated it in a national interview that Sherman had been playing injured all year. How much more proof do you need? The appellate judge was not ruling on evidence, he was ruling on if the commissioner was in his authority to levy the suspension, try reading the actual ruling instead of some tweet that a reporter sent out. You've yet to provide that court transcript where this was stated That's not what I'm saying at all, try to comprehend, a think a medical professional knows more about if a player is concussed than an ex-model. Are you saying that someone with "a nose that looks like a giraffe" is more qualified to diagnose a concussion than a team doctor?

291/432 completions for 3.554 yds with 28 TD's and 2 ints
Wow, if those are the numbers he put up while being concussed, imagine what he would do when thinking clearly. That must be how the Falcons got out to a 25 point lead before they choked.

You need to look at his game stats, not his season stats. Pretty bad game against Denver, acceptable. Pretty bad game against the Rams, why?

I don't get into the Cheatriots stuff but if he was concussed and allowed to play then that's not good enough from the medical staff and anyone else who knew. If Brady wants to play through it's the responsibilty of the medical staff to protect him from himself. It's not brave or tough to play through a concussion, it's risking your health and mental state later in life and the NFL should care because they are the ones who will be forking out millions of dollars to concussion cases for the next few decades as more and more information comes out about the effects of concussions on the brain.

You mean the game where the Patriots clinched the division? Sure he didn't have a great game but to call it pretty bad? 22/36 for 269 yds, 1 TD and 0 INTS with a QBR of 93.5 is hardly a pretty bad game.
This whole thing is just another attempt by the media to make something out of nothing. To indicate the Patriots had some type of cheating scheme to play a QB with a concussion rather than a healthy QB is just absurd. Especially when your backup put up some pretty good numbers earlier in the year

The media is just reporting what Gisele said - that Tom gets concussions all the time. Yet the only playing time he's missed was the 4-game suspension for cheating. So that sounds like the Patriots are doing some shady stuff with the concussion protocol and falsifying their medical reports. Look everyone, it's the ringleader of the largest contingent of pussies in the country doing what he does best.

Gisele made an off the cuff remark and the media turned into into something that it's not. Yeah, Giselle is qualified to speak on him getting concussions all the time. Its to the Patriots benefit to risk the health of arguably the greatest QB of all time when they have a perfectly qualified backup. That makes sense.

If the signs are posted but nothing is done to enforce it then yes, I am going to blame the city for creating an unsafe environment You must also blame the city of LA for O.J. killing 2 people and you must also blame the city of Boston for the marathon bombers setting off a bomb killing many people. A city sets laws but a city isn't responsible for a criminal committing criminal acts. If a criminal commits a crime, that's the fault of the criminal and that's why the criminal is the 1 who gets tried in court. Likewise, the NFL sets concussion protocols that all teams must follow. If a team doesn't follow the concussion protocols, that's the fault of the team and is a violation of the rules that every other team is following. The appellate judge was not ruling on evidence, he was ruling on if the commissioner was in his authority to levy the suspension Judge Denny Chin said on the record in open court "the evidence of ball tampering is compelling." That's obvious to anyone with a brain that Judge Chin isn't referring to the CBA but referring to Brady's involvement in the ball tampering scheme. You've yet to provide that court transcript where this was stated Chin's statement was reported by a reporter who was actually in the court room and to date, no one in the court room has ever disputed that. That's not what I'm saying at all, try to comprehend, a think a medical professional knows more about if a player is concussed than an ex-model. Are you saying that someone with "a nose that looks like a giraffe" is more qualified to diagnose a concussion than a team doctor? Once again, you Patriots fans show your hypocrisy. You accuse Ted Wells, the independent investigator whom Robert Kraft himself praised for his integrity and independence when he was hired to conduct the independent investigation into DeflateGate, of being biased because he was paid by the NFL, but you readily dismiss the probability that the Patriots' doctors, who are paid by the Patriots, falsified medical reports for the Patriots to allow Brady to play. Such hypocrisy! This whole thing is just another attempt by the media to make something out of nothing. A backup who has never started a postseason game and has only 3 NFL starts in his brief career.

Isn't it odd how controversy on potential rules violations always seem to surround Brady and the Patriots? It happens too often to be just coincidence. Moreover, this time the controversy wasn't even initiated by the Jets or the Colts or the Commissioner or anyone within the NFL. This time the controversy on potential rules violations was initiated by Brady's wife.
And the Patriots fans who accused Ted Wells, the independent investigator whom Robert Kraft himself praised for his integrity and independence when he was hired to conduct the independent investigation into DeflateGate, of being biased because he was paid by the NFL, are the same ones who readily dismiss the probability that the Patriots' doctors, who are paid by the Patriots, falsified medical reports for the Patriots to allow Brady to play. Such hypocrisy!
