After a complaint was filed with the powers-that-be in Highland League football and subsequent visits of inspection by them, it was agreed that all future fixtures for the remainder of this season will be played away. The problem is with the pitch's drainage system which has been found to be inadequate. The club have postponed more matches than any other because of 'waterlogged pitch'. It is expected that this ban will last until the Wullies find 'Dry Land'. Given their financial situation, that could be some time and the possibility exists that they may be kicked out of the HL. The complaint came from that 'nosy wee shite' up the road.

'Disgusting, disgraceful but not surprising. The hatred and contempt for this great club runs deep. The authorities have been trying to kill the club for long enough. Now either financially or ensuring they drop out of the HL they may succeed. Shame on every single one of them.'

Some of the hostility to The Wullies comes from the fact that many of the HL clubs think that Fort William is not in the Highlands. What makes this attitude particularly bizarre is the admission this season of Brechin City, to the League. They were relegated from SPFL Division 2 last season and are located near Arbroath.

The above is barely legible but it is difficult to see how the Wullies can survive when even the locals are using Claggan Park as a free-for-all bomb site
