I could see darts when compared to shooting, but not archery. There's considerably more strength and stamina involved in pulling and aiming a bow and arrow than throwing a dart. Oh yeah, definitely more strength required for Archery. But the point I was trying to make was that Shooting requires a gun / rifle, archery requires a bow, whereas darts is simply you and your bodies mechanics. It's more pure a sport in that sense even if the perception is that it has no place in the Olympics. Shooting and archery are just as much about body mechanics as they are about the thing firing the projectile. Like I said earlier, I don't have an argument against darts as a sport that couldn't easily be countered by some of the sports that are already events. But you're doing shooting and archery a disservice by suggesting it's more about the equipment than the athlete.

Top 5
Track and Field Swimming Volleyball (indoors) Gymnastics Diving
5 that could be scrapped without any complaint from me:
3x3 Basketball Surfing Climbing Golf That bicycle acrobatics thing
I can’t think of any sport that is not currently in the Olympics that I would like to see included.
*** EDIT ***
Maybe Futsal (indoors five-a-side soccer) would be a good sport to add to the games. That, and Zero-G football. And maybe Beach Basketball.

But you're doing shooting and archery a disservice by suggesting it's more about the equipment than the athlete. I wasn't attempting to disparage Shooting or Archery in any way. Merely attempting to defend Darts by pointing out it has exactly the same body mechanics - precise aim and power judgement - as the other two but is commonly laughed off for being a "pub game" or whatever. And yes, in terms of not having a targeting instrument, despite the poor perception some people have of it, it is more pure. I guess in the same way I'd view cycling as more pure a sport than moto-gp. But I certainly wasn't putting archery or shooting out of the Olympics sports equation...

Yeah and while I don't think it makes for the most compelling viewing, I wouldn't say darts requires less focus, muscle memory, or hand eye coordination than some of the other sports. If we can have Olympic ping pong we can have Olympic darts, and I don't mean that as an insult to either sport.

I wasn't really comparing the two beyond them being two sports many people would consider 'games.'

... I had the opportunity to watch Olympic-level table tennis in person and it is freaking amazing! Possibly at a higher standard than the poolside hotel table tennis competition I was destroyed in by some Norwegian lad on our last proper holiday sixteen months ago now 😂. But table tennis is great. I used to play a lot when I was younger and the rhythm you get into on rallies as the pace increases and you move further and further away from the table is something else.
