Wow, they're just not giving up on this franchise huh? Anyway, you know what would be cool? If the female lead they cast is actually muscular and looks like a fighter. Someone like Mayling Ng or something:

A feminist Predator? Should have stopped at the first one. There was no need for these crappy sequels.
It's about time to end this crap franchise.

Well if they're going to make one anyway, I'd prefer they just ramp up the camp and gore. And maybe try to do more scenes during daytime as well. Getting tired of trying to decipher predators in near completely darkness.

They already did a feminist Predator- the Alien Vs Predator films.
I assume it will be about a Pocahontas character.

Why a female lead?
I mean that from a studio perspective more than anything. There is no part of the female demographic thatโs going to turn out in droves for a Predator movie - males might, though.
It could actually be a decent success if they made it another testosterone-fueled, R-rated action movie.

So basically just rehash/retread "Predator" but with a female lead. Yawn.

20th Century Fox head Steve Asbell shared with The Hollywood Reporter: "You can take big creative swings -- which you'll see with Prey, which we'll launch this summer. A Predator movie set in the Great Plains in 1719 by Dan Trachtenberg. That's what this allows us to do."
