Should Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson be added to this list? You could make an argument for it. But would that mean you could also make an argument for T.O.? - “get your popcorn ready” - “that’s my quarterback (sobbing)” - Got angry he wasn’t a first ballot HOFer. Refused to attend his ceremony at his induction. Then got angry at the HOF when they canceled a public ceremony he wasn’t going to attend.

The thing that bugs me about Biles is her offhand interviews where she sounds almost Valley girl saying it should be fun, and she's not having fun out there.
I just hope she isn't remembered for this. It would be a shame for the greatest female gymnast ever to be remembered for that time she "quit" right in the middle of the Olympics. Time will tell...
Well, there’s no chance she will be remembered as the “greatest female gymnast ever”. And I have no idea why “quit” is in quotation marks, as if there is some doubt about it. She quit halfway through a competition. |

Got released by the Raiders for his on-the-field antics. Got signed by the Broncos for a good salary. Punted a few games then put himself on injured reserve, faking a leg injury. Had off-the-field antics. Was trashing the team he was on on social media. And was asking other teams to trade for him while he faked his leg injury. Apparently he thought he was in high demand around the league. He was released about a week later and nobody touched him, ending his NFL career. |

It's inevitable. It's a part of her story now. Some will always hold it against her and some will dismiss it as a negative but either way, it will always be remembered. Roberto Duran was a great boxer but many will always remember him most for the No Mas vs Sugar Ray.
That's probably true but hopefully it won't change her status among the greats.

I quoted it because she just had mental issues, she didn't really quit. lol... I'm still trying to figure out why she brought this up. Probably just an excuse but whatever.
And why do you think she won't be considered the GOAT? She has to accolades to back it up.

I remember I saw one of his college games on TV many years ago. He was having a bad game throwing lots of interceptions. The coach took him out and he had the worst meltdown I had ever seen. (Still is the worst to this day). He was screaming on the sideline in this high pitched scream that sounded like he was about to cry. And it went on for a long time. He sounded like a spoiled 6 year old girl with her hair on fire! I remember thinking right then and there whoever drafts that guy is gonna have a head case. I didn’t know how right I was! But he’s in a much better place now mentally. He’s a recovery counselor and really seems like a great person now, a good human being.

Think he actually got arrested for breaking into a home to steal pills
Inspirational to see he's turned his life around (hope he's still OK) - you never know with addiction problems - could fall off the rails any day.....
I see him on TV (forget what network - might be Fox) as a commentator from time to time.....
