I remember I saw one of his college games on TV many years ago. He was having a bad game throwing lots of interceptions. The coach took him out and he had the worst meltdown I had ever seen. (Still is the worst to this day). He was screaming on the sideline in this high pitched scream that sounded like he was about to cry. And it went on for a long time. He sounded like a spoiled 6 year old girl with her hair on fire! I remember thinking right then and there whoever drafts that guy is gonna have a head case. I didn’t know how right I was! But he’s in a much better place now mentally. He’s a recovery counselor and really seems like a great person now, a good human being. I've seen him on TV talk about all his demons and the trouble he's been in life
Think he actually got arrested for breaking into a home to steal pills
Inspirational to see he's turned his life around (hope he's still OK) - you never know with addiction problems - could fall off the rails any day..... I see him on TV (forget what network - might be Fox) as a commentator from time to time.....
Yeah it seems like he’s really put in the work to turn his life around and put his past behind him. I hope he continues to be successful. I wish him nothing but the best.

Damn, I didn't know about that. Are there any video-clips of him doing this on YouTube?

Rusty Kuntz Surely anyone with that name must have had mental health issues. How about Johnny Dickshot?
To add insult to injury, the poor bastards nickname was "Ugly"

Brandon Brooks - Eagles O-Lineman
Couple of years back he was having anxiety attacks (panic attacks) prior to a game - had to sit out the game (forget if it was games)

It was so long ago I can’t remember what game it was in or who was the opponent. And I haven’t seen it randomly pop up on YouTube. Heck, you can’t even find a straight YouTube video of his “Knock it off!!” locker room meltdown. Too bad. It was a sight to behold. Then again, the guy has probably been reminded of that stuff enough on social media in years past. Even though he brought some of his problems on himself maybe it’s a good thing he can’t be easily reminded of it on YouTube. But this video speaks volumes about his character back then.

Ms. Biles quit and is being praised. We live in an ever-weakening society of low expectations.

Well, there’s no chance she will be remembered as the “greatest female gymnast ever”. And I have no idea why “quit” is in quotation marks, as if there is some doubt about it. She quit halfway through a competition.
I quoted it because she just had mental issues, she didn't really quit. lol... I'm still trying to figure out why she brought this up. Probably just an excuse but whatever.
And why do you think she won't be considered the GOAT? She has to accolades to back it up.
Well she’s 17th on this list. And there is no way she’s outdone Nadia Comăneci in Olympic performances, the gold standard for Gymnastics. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Olympic_medal_leaders_in_women%27s_gymnasticsHate to say it, but Biles elevation to GOAT status has a lot to do with the fact she’s an American.

As I understand it, it's mostly to do with the fact that she's had maneuvers named after her because she's the first ever to complete them in competition. I'm certainly no gymnastics expert, but from experts have explained, that's a pretty rare achievement.

LOL! Olympic competition only is your source? Not to take anything away from what girls were doing back in the 50s and 60s but the sport has change a lot since then. The skills are much more advanced today.
Biles has won the worlds all around 5 times and with a total of 25 medals at the worlds, She's also won every other gymnastics competition multiple times including 7 time US all around champion. She has 4 gymnastic skills that are named after her that no woman has ever done in competition. You really can't go by Olympics only.
She basically took the sport to a different level. Yeah, I think that would qualify her as the best gymnast ever.

And Comăneci didn’t take the sport to a new level ? She also has manoeuvres named after her. She also did several, multiple skills that never been done before in competition. She also got awarded multiple perfect 10’s at multiple Olympics, and won more medals at her two Olympics than Biles won at her two Olympics whilst performing for a far inferior team in Romania than the USA. Biles is not the best gymnast ever unquestionably, when a competitor for that title has in many ways outperformed her on the biggest stage. And that is without mentioning that Biles literally walked away from said biggest stage for ambiguous reasons that were not physical injuries, and in the middle of competition no less. Not exactly the hallmark characteristics of a “Greatest of all Time” now is it ?

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. I still say the skills are much harder today than they were back then. It's like comparing NBA teams of today to teams of the 50s and 60s etc... teams of today definitely play better defense than they did back then. Not that I want to get into an NBA debate now but you know what I mean.

If this is a post to poke fun at Biles I'm not for it. Mental issues is a generational issue. Older than 40 (imo) don't understand. My generation, meanwhile contemplate suicide but don't feel they can express themselves.
