I just viewed it—my first film in a theater since March 12, 2020 (man, it was fun to be back). Directed by the acclaimed Morgan Neville, this documentary is engrossing, rhythmic, and nicely photographed. It is not especially remarkable, perhaps, but I deem it "very good"—it holds your attention as its subject matter alternately delights and bewilders the viewer. In short, if you want to see a real-life character study about an enigmatic and authentic celebrity, and you want to view something that is well-made and more or less flawless, Roadrunner fits the bill.
