I guess there's shift work too or longer shifts like 3 12 hour shifts I recently worked midnights, and I kind of liked it even though I'm a morning person. Go figure.

7a to 3p.
Of the three options, I think I'd be in the best mood for working during this time slot.

3 to 11 would suit me best. I'm not a morning person by any means and such a shift would give me time due to my own thing after I got home at night, which is ideal for me given my nocturnal habits.

I'm another 7 - 3 enthusiast.
I was a radio producer, on the west coast. Beginning at 7 gave me two hours to prepare for a 9 AM program. There were many calls to make to the east coast, and it wasn't yet lunchtime, back there, so people were available. I had a couple of hours to take care of things at the end of my shift.
Also, it was great to have some "day" left, after I was off work. Even in December, I wasn't getting home after dark.

7 to 7:00:01. Your post reminds me of a snippet from The Wizard of Oz ("The Merry Old Land of Oz"): We get up at noon and start to work at one Take an hour for lunch, and then at two, we're done-- Jolly good fun!

I mostly work 3-11 now, but 11-11 3 days a week is my favorite.

I suppose 7 - 3 though I am currently working part time and my hours are perfect: 9-2.

I’ve worked every shift out there. Daylight is the best if you want a life. Currently though I’m retired and working a very leisurely graveyard (at a senior living facility ) and love it. Hi PaulsLaugh, so what do you do at the senior living facility? Or just living there?

I had the day to myself unlike 9-5; but that was because I could only sleep 3 to 4 hours a day. Not healthy sleep, but I liked the me time.

I experienced all of those options and 7-3 was almost equally damaging for me as 11-7. I hate having to get up before 9am no matter what phase of my life I am at. It has always been like that.
So I kinda arrange my jobs to be 10-6 when I can and if forced to select one of your options it would for sure be 3-11.

7 to 3
Ive worked 5p-5a and 10p-8a before...among over varying hours. Daylight, proper daylight, is still my preferred time to work. The other shifts i always struggle to find my energy.

7-3, that way I can still have the rest of the day to do stuff.

11 to 7. I could go to sleep at 3 am and wake up at 10 am. That would be perfect.

11-7
I've done all those, & even though it's the same blocks of time, having to wake up at 6am after 8hrs of sleep feels far worse than 8hrs waking up 10am for 11.
Late shifts are fine sometimes, though you do end up feeling waiting all day to start, leaving no real sense of free time.
