Posted this on another board and thought I would share it here.
This was years ago and I don't think they do it anymore. Several of us went to a place called Quaker Steak & Lube. The waitress said if anyone could finish a plate of their hottest hot wings its free. She said you had to eat them within 45 minutes. This one guy says OK I am sure I can eat them all. We all ordered something else. They bring him his hot wings. He ate the first two with no problem but after that he slowed way down and his face was getting red. As he is getting down to the last 5 or 6 pieces he is sweating like crazy. The people sitting on nearby tables were cheering him on. Get this. He is down to his last one but just could not eat it.Time ran out. But the story don't end there. As he was eating he was pouring down beer after beer. Well he had to go to the bath room. When done he washed his hands. Big mistake. Should have washed then BEFORE and after. He comes back to the table and in a few minutes he is squirming like crazy. You can guess why. When he got home he ran and I mean ran to the shower. We were all laughing like crazy but he did not think it was funny. But he did laugh about it the next day. They did make him pay but they put up a plaque with his name on it saying he ate them all but one.
