The burbs? One that came out after that film was released? I'm saying what would be one that is only labelled as a comedy though. Or, is there even one?
Where if you looked it up on allmovie.com it just says genre - comedy. It doesn't say something like , horror- comedy. Or comedy- fantasy. Like it does if you look up gremlins 2 or bill and ted 2.

I agree that the Burbs is great.
I have a really hard time ranking comedies tho. They’re so much more mood dependent than other films for me and most tend to depreciate with every viewing.

There are loads, the burbs is terrible Well there are definitely films since the 'burbs that are good comedy films. But they aren't necessarily better than that film. I could be wrong, but i think in order to have a good comedy film, there has to be a movie star in it.
Which of course tom hanks is.
So therefore the last movie star comedy actors would be tom hanks and steve martin. So the last good comedy film would be either the 'burbs or my blue heaven.
