I believe it was just a side shot.

It's "Link" and is a long shot from the side. You might be happier checking her out in "Leaving Las Vegas" but even then you might be disappointed at the speed, if not the lack, of much exposure so be ready with your thumb on the Pause button.

The monkey's pretty hot, though.

Pass on it -- don't believe the hype.
Save your monkey -- don't be a chimp.

It is actually not that bad. Of course, Richard Franklin did far better films back then, with Road Games and Psycho II. However, Link is set within some fantastic locations, but somehow the film or story never quiet get to where I was hoping it would lead. Less of the clownish music and score, and a bit more of the giallo/darker approach.
For me, for a similar themed 80s releases, I think George A. Romero and his later approach with Monkey Shines (1988), worked out much better.
