Awkward. Anyone see that? Great TV. Ball wouldn't even look at her and Kristine Leahy called him to the table for 'not marketing towards woman', making fun of people's weight and calling people 'losers' for not affording the shoe. Ball refused to look at her the entire segment. Apparently - viewers have been chiming in stating they expected Cowherd to step up and 'save' Leahy since she's a woman. Cowherd's stance was she could protect herself. She actually looked like she had tears in her eyes (I think she's hot - even hotter when a chick cries ) Great TV - will probably be on Youtube soon

That was insane. He's insane. I had to play the whole thing back. "Stay in your lane" "Something's coming at you"
He should give the Lakers 2nd thoughts after that.

"Stay in your lane" "Something's coming at you" He should give the Lakers 2nd thoughts after that. this dude needs to quietly disappear now. his kid is primed to be taken #2 in the draft. focus on his two younger kids going to UCLA. yeah - when he was stating 'stay in your lane' - my jaw kind of dropped. like - ummmm - you're a guest - and she's a reg on the show. i was actually expecting Cowherd to step up and and defend her and it was kind of shocking he laid back. after commercial break i'm thinking they got bombarded with calls, emails, tweets, etc stating they couldn't believe he pretty much sat there - and thats when he came out stating he doesn't feel the need to defend her just because she's a woman. great tv

Whenever he starts expressing his opinion and Whitlock interrupts he just folds like a puppy. Now he is explaining why he didn't and it's bullshit. If she needed backing up he should of had her back.

He could have stood up as the host of the show, not as a chivalrous move. He should have had Kristine sit by him so Ball would have to address both or neither. And now the BBB price is $3 billion, lol.

I agree and I don't agree with those on this board who say Lavar Ball is "good" for the NBA.

Honestly from what I saw there I don't think it was that big of a deal. Ball has been manufacturing this image for a while now, he didn't even attack her. He made it look like she was attacking him, which was ridiculous, but (pardon the pun) no harm, no foul.

Ah. I guess I'll have to wait for the full video. He's clearly playing a character to build up his brand or whatever. Guys like him are only a pain if you allow them to be. From what I saw there he was being a douche, but I don't see him as particularly hostile or angry. It could be a lot worse. Just an observation on my part: I bet he doesn't even think that was sexist. There's zero chance he does that to a male reporter, but I bet he doesn't even realize it. I don't know if that obliviousness makes it better or worse, though. Again all this is based on what I saw. For all I know he told her to get on her knees and start sucking immediately after this video ends.

I'm sorry, but I am really getting to dislike this arrogant ass. It's not just this, he's got this whole "Oooh, look at me. I'm EDGY!" act down to an art form. His doubling on the "I could take Jordan" bullshit. Great unverifiable claim there, Ball. Once again, I have as many career points in the NBA as your son. And I could sit here for an hour and name NBS Draft flops. I wonder what Stromile Swift shoes sell for today? Hasheem Thabeet shoes?
BTW, notice how Col laughs at Ball when he starts on Leahy but gets outraged when he starts on Jason Whitlock. And kudos to Leahy. I thought she was just eye candy (I don't watch Cowherd, the shill for the NBA much).

This guy averaged 2 points per game in college. That's exactly why he doesn't bother me, he's a joke. I just tune him out, I wouldn't even know he existed if not for the media helping his cause. It's an act to get attention for his brand, and as the saying goes there's no such thing as bad publicity.
