Well... you like the Rocky movies, and those have some of the worst fight choreography in history. I think you'll be fine. Really?
I thought some of the boxing scenes in the Rocky movies were pretty realistic...

Amazon will be releasing the A League of Their Own series later this year, with Nick Offerman cast in the cantankerous coach role (at least, I'm assuming), which is about as perfect casting as you can get.

I can see it now, roster full of Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Zazie Beetz, and other chicks that wear Yankees hats yet never heard of Derek Jeter.

Don't be silly, Jeter definitely banged at least one of those chicks.

The Natural? Apparently you had no interest in realism then. I can't stand that movie. Field of Dreams is good if your dad's dead. Bull Durham is the best baseball movie, with ALOTO a close 2nd. The three best baseball movies, listed in no particular order, are Bull Durham, A League of Their Own, and The Bad News Bears (original Walter Matthau version). Field of Dreams is a bit overrated to me and The Natural...I kind of like it but I’ve never been a huge Redford fan. He’s kind of insufferable in it. I think The Natural is more of a fairy tale than Field of Dreams with that wonderboy shit. Completely agree, and it's one of my all time favorite flicks. It's a modern fairy tale, you can't take it any other way.

'Fairy Tale'
Why?
Because he's old?
Look at Tom Brady
Look at LeBron
Look at Joker, Nadal, Fed
Look at Jagr
Look at Roger Clemens and Randy Johnson

Yes, because he's old. Not because he has a bat named wonderboy that he made from a tree in his yard. Not because lightning strikes when he knocks the cover off the ball. Not because he shatters the clock or destroys the entire lighting system of the stadium with a homerun.

George Foreman returned after a 10 year layoff
At 45 years old he became the oldest Heavyweight Champion in Boxing History.....
The Natural doesn't seem so far fetched now does it?

I missed the part where lightning struck or the lights all exploded when Foreman knocked someone out. Also it's weird that you're arguing with me when I defended the fairy tale nature of the film in the first place.

I didn't care for MDB. People act like it's some kind of masterpiece but I found it to be kinda boring.
LOTO is alright but nothing to interesting.
Invincible is a good sports film. And it's based on a true story. Friday Night Lights is decent too.

Own it. Love it.
Give it a watch once a year or so.
Probably time for another watch since the NFL is starting up.....

I've never seen either one of them. Me either
I have concerns about them not being actual sports movies
I don't want to cringe when I'm watching somebody attempt to throw a baseball or a left hook......

Again, Rocky. Plus, we all know you're just gonna have it on in the background and not really pay attention anyway.

It’s not a documentary starring Ozzie Smith, Johnny Bench, and Chase Utley. It’s about girls baseball starring actual girls. Rosie O’Donnell plays third and Madonna is in the outfield. Make of that what you will. In the context of what it is it’s an entertaining movie but it’s not a how to.

Watched it yesterday
Apparently it was made in like 1983 but was never released - it was just released last year.....
Charlie Sheen and George Clooney starred....
That had my full attention.....

I can see Rosie O'Donnell batting cleanup
Maybe playing catcher...
Just got a little more interesting....
And Madonna was kind of hot back then.....

Not yet... we'll see if I ever get to it, but the obvious curiosity of the extremely famous before they were famous cast paired with the putrid reviews does intrigue me a bit.
