Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but her weakest event has always been the balance beam. She wasn't expected to win gold in that event.

Let's say an athlete was considered 'The Greatest Triathlon Athlete' ever But that person came in 3rd in the swimming portion How can this person be considered 'The Greatest Triathlon Athlete' ever if they come in 3rd during an event in the Triathlon?

Let's say an athlete was considered 'The Greatest Triathlon Athlete' ever But that person came in 3rd in the swimming portion How can this person be considered 'The Greatest Triathlon Athlete' ever if they come in 3rd during an event in the Triathlon?  If he's the best ever at the first two then he'd pretty much have to drown to destroy his chances of winning the race. Does he drown in this scenario?

Maybe a little of both. She'll be considered the best female gymnast ever but not getting at least silver is slightly disappointing. Still, not bad though when you look at the way this meet went for her.
