CLAIRE BLOOM / GERORGE C. SCOTT / Islands in the Stream shucks -- Kijii got to the final one before I could post it. TURNABOUT--YOU DID THAT TO ME AT LEAST TWICE!! Islands in the Stream --Must see. On the recent Ken Burns series (re: Hemingway) this may have been Hemingway's worst novel..

Janet Leigh & Paul Newman in HARPER You encouraged me to nitpick, but that's when you're QM. Isapop rules with an iron fist, and I didn't wish to disrupt anything during gametime, so we'll keep this between you and me: Leigh and Newman are in the midst of divorcing, but he keeps stalling on meetings with her and the lawyer. "We've been trying to get this divorce thing settled for too long now, and I have lately been running low on understanding."But you beat me out on Deadline U.S.A. I'd just sat down with fresh coffee, thought, "Hunter & Bogart, Deadline U.S.A.," refreshed the page, and there was Matt "a few seconds ago."

(And I am relieved it would not have affected the standings.)

Thanks for the fun game, Isapop. Great idea. Wish I had more time with it. Congratulations to the once and future QM, Matt Garth.

But'cha know what? You could probably do a Round 2 of the same game. A number of 'em have already occurred to me. Exes so often make great characters, either fun or malevolent.

Hey Doghouse -- as long as "a number of 'em" are occurring to you ... how's about posting a contest yourself?
Since one QM is in semi retirement, another would be welcomed.
