What specific channels do you watch? And besides specific channels, how/what do you search for?
How do you find new things to check out?

The only 'movie stuff' I watch on youtube are YTPs which are basically parodies of great franchises.

Channel Awesome Honest Trailers Screen Rant (specifically their "Pitch Meeting" videos) Corridor Crew Chris Stuckmann BREADSWORD Royal Ocean Film Society JoBlo (specifically their "WTF Happened to This Movie?" videos) Movieclips
So, particularly, I watch film analysis and review videos, recent or vintage interview videos of actors and filmmakers, and occasionally I may watch behind the scenes videos (like deleted scenes, production documentaries, voice actors recording their lines, etc.).
I don't particularly have to look for them because it's suggested to me because I am subscribed to those channels. However, every now and then, I'll see a recommended video with a thumbnail and title that catches my attention.

What specific channels do you watch? And besides specific channels, how/what do you search for? How do you find new things to check out? The type of channels that don't seem to last very long on YT . Although it happens less so these days, YT still provides an invaluable source for seeking out increasingly rare movies and curios. Otherwise no specific channels, the occasional doc when I see one that interests (although I'm not usually a huge fan) and since the demise of IMBD individual film boards, I often dip in to reviews of films I've recently seen to see what others are saying about it; but I tend to stay away from too many of those in-depth film analysis ones which are mostly irritating (although there have been some inciteful ones). And for my sins, I've found myself watching a fair bit of reaction channels recently. I don't quite know why I do it, (most I suspect are fake), I suppose it may be due to the amount of time spent watching films with my dad over the years, where it was usually on my recommendation we decided what we watched and so I was often fascinated by how he reacted to my choices.

I avoid those crappy Youtube creator channels like the plague.
I mainly check it out for trailers, soundtracks and spaghetti westerns.

No specific channels. I'm a surfer.
I start out searching for classic, silent and, rare movies, mostly by simply typing in the title. There are tons of newer movies, too, theatrical releases, tv and straight to video. I'm always surprised at what is available, many of which can be downloaded.
Music: everything from light classical to bluegrass, country and rock; a lot of good stuff by non professionals.
Standup Comedy: George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield; comedy club standup
Old tv movies and teleplays from the days of Playhouse 90. I've found the tv produced Legend of Lizzie Borden, which I hadn't seen since the early 1970's, the teleplay of Picture of Dorian Gray (1961) and The Man in the Funny Suit, the story behind Ed Wynn's difficulties switching from a baggy pants comic to dramatic actor while making Requiem For A Heavyweight. These films often come and go quickly, so it's a matter of luck that you land in the right place at the right time before they are taken down for copyright or other reasons.
Movie trailers. Always loved them from the time I was a kid. I can watch an hour of them. Joe Dante has a channel called Trailers From Hell, basically a three minute review while the trailer plays.
Most amateur film reviewers are terrible. I avoid them. But there is an English guy who runs a channel called My Dark Corners of This Sick World, and he is hilarious at puncturing bad movies of all genres.
Picked up a USB connector a couple years ago so I can watch all the YouTube stuff on my big screen tv.

Dead Meat - They're a horror movie channel whose weekly content is usually a 'kill count' video that breaks down specific movies and rates the kills, along with a brief review and summary usually. Theyve also dabbled in podcasts and humorous voicover videos. Theyre good people.
Collative Learning...he does some pretty extensive and scientific reviews for movies. Usually breaking them down the way a film student would...or so i like to think. Ive never been to a film class but he sounds like he has.
Ryan Hollinger...Nice reviews and likes to break down horror movies and talk about them in general.
Zach Cherry...Another horror movie guy...sorry i went down the horror movie rabbit hole and liked what i came back with. His biggest focus seems to be on Scream so far but i like his content so im interested to see if he branches out.
I also recently got a little into react videos for tv shows and movies...it's hit or miss sometimes but overall i enjoy seeing peoples reactions to movies or tv shows i love so...
Ashleigh Burton...a millenial that has pretty much only watched disney and is diving into so many classics for the first time ever.
The Normies...Indiana/Illinois? based group of friends that react to pretty much everything. They work their way through different tv shows and have like 5 years of back content available.
Ive recently gotten back into reading too and sub to a few booktubers...
Merphy Napier, Daniel Greene and Mikes Book Reviews...between the three they cover a variety of books but mostly fantasy and sci fi for Merphy and Greene, and Stephen King for Mike...but theres a lot of cross content there.
