It's all about how L'orient for me this season, though selling Yoane Wissa to Brentford (he'll surprise a few in the EPL) on the eve of season starting doesn't feel me with much optimism for this seasons financial journey with the Brittany club.
Some other notable happenings and curiosities for the upcoming season, Christophe Gaultier exploits at OGC Nice after winning the league with Lille last season, he'll do well to get them mid table this season, though they have made some notable decent signings in the market, might take a while for them to bear fruit. Marseille have also splashed the cash about under Sampioli and should be better challenged to at least make a sustained challenge for the champions league spots. Lyon under Peter Bosz should be entertaining and hopefully young talent Rayan Cherki gets more of a chance to shine this season than last. Of course then there's PSG under Poch, who have managed to already sign three world class players already without spending a penny on a transfer fee and that's excluding before even the overhyped midget arrives to add to the galaxy of stars on the roster.
AS Monaco 1 Nantes 1 - Drab opening fixture as Niko Kovac's side fail to hammer home their superiority against a terrible Nantes side.
