The concept of an alpha doesn't come from wolf packs, it comes from nature. The article is something of a strawman, arguing they are not alphas because they are the parents of most of the pack. Well no shit, that's how it works.

They are now saying Vikings were transgender. Seriously, and they converted to Islam, and were multicultural--what happened to the argument that the West was rife with white supremacy?
They can't keep anything straight. It is all political.

“The adults are simply in charge because they are the parents of the rest of the pack members. We don’t talk about the alpha male, the alpha female and the beta child in a human family,” Zimmermann said. I beg to difffer. Or at last to point out that if 'we' do not that is because it rises hell if 'we' try to. There was that proposition to stop referring to fater and mother in the law, referring instead to parent one and parent two. Guess what ? (Imho 'beta' would have been worse than two but the nuance in language dos not translate to anglish.)
