The Philadelphia Story - never got it. Why would an audience of average Joes give a fig about the "problems" of the uber rich. Most of the characters in this movie would be the first ones stood against the wall come the revolution.
And Jimmy Stewart is a great actor....but THIS was his oscar?!?!

Holiday. I guess. There are some Cukor films I really love, but on the whole he’s never been one of my favorite directors—nor Kate one of my favorite actresses. (My favorite Hepburn performance, by the way, is in Stage Door—watch it!)
