How do people feel about that? I say they should’ve gone with Dr. Doom, but that wouldn’t really fit with the multiverse approach they seem to be taking moving forward.

I think it'll be fun because it won't be one big bad, it'll probably be multiple versions of him. He won't get stale, the possibilities are limitless.

I'd prefer Doom or Galactus but Kang could be interesting.

It's a fantastic idea. I've been wanting to see a film portrayal of Kang the Conqueror for quite some time.

I'd prefer Doom or Galactus but Kang could be interesting. Don't think Galactus has it to be a Thanos. He's a countdown monster villain. He's something like a Doomsday. If they try to make him multiple phases long, it would end up the same as the previous phases. Silver Surfer shows up and starts the clock on Galactus coming (Loki in Avengers). They build up the forces while maybe collecting artifacts. Surfer changes sides (Nebula). Galactus has other Heralds that fight the heroes when Galactus gets there.
I think Kang is more like a Magneto or Loki. That villain that keeps showing up throughout the movies.
