Bisbee's Warren Ballpark. Oldest pro-park around. Built in 1909.

My back yard. I could put four regulations base lines. Not a lot of foul territory but who cares

www.mitchellrepublic.com/sports/4291740-diamond-rough-four-corners-baseball-field-beaten-path"The first question is 'How far of a drive is it?' " the Four Corners amateur baseball manager/player said. "The next question is 'Well, where exactly is Four Corners? Well, it is 35 miles west of Pierre. Well, what town is it in? It is not in a town. It is nowhere near a town.' " The amateur baseball field is somewhat of an enigma as it's located on the wide-open plains of western South Dakota and it's not a popular destination for the state's sports fans. The closest "town" to the isolated field is Hayes, which is listed as an unincorporated community and not tracked by the U.S. Census Bureau. Hayes is five miles away from the field. But other than a house and some grain bins to the south and an abandoned house to the east, the field is surrounded by a sea of open prairie in every direction. The remote field is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and South Dakota Highways 34 and 63. It's 35 miles west of Pierre, 140 miles east of Rapid City and another 60 miles north of Interstate 90. In other words, it defines the middle of nowhere. But its players are from everywhere around the region.

stalagmites are part of the field! Are those the ones that come up from the ground or down from the ceiling? I can never keep them straight.

Just saw some of the footage of this. Looked terrific. Totally schmaltzy but then we're talking field of dreams here!
Would be brilliant if they could do something similar with the Premier League - maybe do a Man Utd Vs Liverpool in some old falling apart non league ground...

They should build a field similar to the FoD field but rather than having corn in the outfield, they should stack the outfield with some old cars so that every time they hit a home-run it smashes a window or dents one of'em. That would be funny....

That would be funny.... I went to a San Jose Bees minor league game where they had people throwing to break a junk car's headlights between innings.
