I suppose so to some extent. Difficult to say though. I prefer the title agnostic to atheist. You can be an agnostic atheist. The two terms aren't mutually exclusive. Technically, everyone's an agnostic, if people were truly honest with themselves.

Discuss. I dont believe in atheists because they can't actually prove they are atheists. So just out of curiosity, can you prove that you don't believe in atheists because they can't actually prove they are atheists? If not, why should I believe you? Uh huh. I don't believe that you're curious because you can't actually prove that you're curious.

Uh huh. I don't believe that you're curious because you can't actually prove that you're curious. Prove that you don't believe that! And thus, the logic has been honed to its obvious and gloriously nonsensical conclusion!

It's nice when that happens, isn't it?

So nobody has been able to provide empirical proof that atheists exist? Imagine that.

So nobody has been able to provide empirical proof that atheists exist? Imagine that. And nobody cares. What point were you trying to make?

There can be no joy in handing Blade his ass because he's genuinely too much of a fuckwit to know when he's had his ass handed to him.

He just wants the attention we give him. Most of us just want to show how right we are so we oblige him. It's a give and take relationship.

tpfkar Seems we've got conclusive empirical evidence for irredeemable imbecility at least. You said I was wrong which is attacking me rather than my argument.

Or more appropriately, the groan everyone makes in response to it.

I take your question to mean do I think there is anyone at all who doesn't think there is(are) any God(s).
Of course.
Or more precisely, I would consider is it more likely than not that at least someone, somewhere, sometime (historically) didn't think there is(are) God(s).
I would probably believe that even if no one ever claimed/admitted being an atheist. The odds are that in a world of billions of people there isn't at least one or two who think/thought there wasn't any God or Gods. Even if it was due to delusion or mental illness or due to never having heard of Gods, they'd still be atheists if they didn't think there were any Gods. Even if I was able to quiz everyone who lives now or who ever lived and they all said they believed there was some sort of deity, I'd still think there was a good chance someone wasn't telling the truth.
Generally folks don't need, and indeed can't wait for, unequivocal proof before forming beliefs.

Empirical evidence of atheism of course. The existence of the main idea behind atheism can be seen defined and the membership of American Atheists (say) can be measured. Hence there is no reason not to believe atheism does not exist.

"I am an atheist." What more empirical evidence do you need?

So nobody has been able to provide empirical proof that atheists exist? Imagine that. As I mentioned in my earlier comment, "empirical proof" is a category error.
