Absolutely wonderful easy read. Couldn’t put the thing down. I meant for it to be a periodic break from my reading of Wheel of Time, to be read during the remainder of the month as it’s a monthly read in a goodreads group…but I kept coming back to it and coming back to it until I was in the throes of the climax and figured we’ll here I am.

It's been a long time since I read Jurassic Park, but I remember the exact same feeling. I could just sit with it and lose track of time.

I wish they re-imagined it as a miniseries or a television series like Westworld.

It's good. Prefer the movie, though.
I did prefer The Lost World novel to the movie "adaptation".

I must have seen this thread because I woke up in the middle of the night the other night and grabbed the Jurassic Park paperback and read almost half of it in one go. A real page turner. Down to the last 60 pages now. I found the sequel paperback in the same box, I have a lot of Crichton, but I don't remember if I've read it.

I read it a couple of years before the film came out, after my grandmother had borrowed it from the library. I enjoyed it, although I have never been compelled to read it again.

I really liked it. I was surprised by how different it was compared to the movie.

Nice to hear your thoughts. I remember breezing through this book in no time when I was still at school, such a great read.
