I barely remember this movie, but from what I remember it is really stupid. It is like it took everything that makes the original good and does the exact opposite.

This is a Yay based on nostalgia and not quality. I haven't watched it since I was 11 years old but when I was 11 years old it was the most important movie in the world. Though I choose not to watch it again, I do still regularly listen to the soundtrack.

I'm going to say yay.
I was kid when I was first introduced to American Werewolf in London and it was really scary for me to watch the entire movie so I ended up watching An American Werewolf in Paris first. I liked it. I felt it was more comedy than horror. Later I finally watched American Werewolf in London. The original is better obviously.

Yes. Although it has its flaws, the sequel is definitely much better than the original movie.
An American Werewolf in London is the worst movie I have ever seen. 1/10.
