Haven’t seen Return of The Fly, but the dog scene in Fly 2 made me bawl.

A really shipshod sequel to the 1958 classic. Vincent Price and no explanation why the fly head is ten times larger than the one worn by Al (David) Hedison. Goofy fun if you are in the mood.

Both are poor but the 1989 sequel at least has a few neat creature FX.

Actually there was an explanation; in the movie it's stated that there was gigantism involved in the accident this time or something. Lame excuse, but they did at least try.
