The Mets are going for their own jugular, on the verge of getting swept out in SF. They're now a game under .500 and 4.5 out of 1st. deGrom looks like he's done for the year (unless the Mets manage to remain in it for the next month), Lindor is purportedly on the road back, Thor is....somewhere I guess, and the guys who are up are simply underperforming. Their offense is putrid and this swing against the Dodgers and Giants looks like it is the nail in the proverbial coffin.
Oh well.

He’s supposed to be back next week, but we’ll see.

Freddie Freeman hits for the cycle and the Braves lead the Fishies 7-2. As I said the other day, Freddie absolutely kills the Marlins every time they play. I’m pulling for the Braves to win the NL East now that the Fishies are out of contention, the Braves have a great offense and are fun to watch.
