Before movies like Sharknado, we had a movie that started off as some Internet idea which snowballed into a deliberately silly B-movie with little thought put into it outside of the title. But like with Sharknado, the movie has its fans.
"I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"

Snakes on a Plane (2006) - 2.5 out of 4 stars
"It isn't like the old days when you called the box office to see what was playing and the response was, "PHFFFT" OR "ZOTZ!" Here you know what you're getting, and for the lovers having taboo sex in the overly cramped jet lavatory, it's a lot more than chaffed behinds. Why? Because an indicted drug thug tries to silence a witness by crashing an entire passenger plane through hissing means. You can bet FBI agent Jackson has conflicting ideas about this. The premise is fun, but a premise is just about all there is. Super 35."

It was an OK film... I think, for me, my interest in it was due to all the hype at the time... And Samuel L. Jackson's famous line in the trailers about the snakes on the plane... 6/10 Interestingly, because of THAT film, I ended up watching another film... "Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane" (2007)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_of_the_Living_Dead:_Outbreak_on_a_Plane"Zombies On A Plane" was an obvious Hollywood Cash-Grab due to the popularity of the other. It was another, OK film... 5/10 And then there were the stories in the news about having "Liquids On Planes" It was an interesting time about " Anything On A Plane"... |

It was an entertaining throwback to the B-movies that turned out to be better than expected. The snake attacks were intense and I still chuckle at Samuel L. Jackson's famous line, both censored and uncensored.

A nice enjoyable throwback to B-movies monster films.

I remember how much hype this movie had and I remember enjoying it well the first time I saw it but the second time around it was a bit of bore.
