Well... Sorry, but you knew this was coming eventually. So, inspired by the Gilligan's Island thread... Ginger or Mary Ann?
Hey, at the very least it'll get my mind off the news/politics for a moment. (If you want my answer, I'm a determined Mary Ann partisan.)

For me, it's no contest. Mary Ann is the winner!

Three votes for Mary Ann! And they say we can't agree on anything in this politically polarized environment! Thanks for the comment, johnblutarsky.

And, see, the difference here is that we can disagree without resorting to any kind of rudeness or name-calling... * Knock on wood* Proof that debating Gilligan's Island yields better results than debating politics. Perhaps obvious, but nice to know nonetheless. Thankee, everyone!

What about the time when Mary Ann got a knock on the head and thought she was Ginger and Ginger was forced to pretend she was Mary Ann?
What a series.
They did a Sherlock Holmes meets Dracula segment years before the first book came out with the same idea.

Both episodes you mention are some of the show's best.

I think the characters work as the 7 deadly sins.
pride--Mrs Howell greed--Mr Howell lust--Ginger envy--Mary Ann gluttony-- the Professor (I know it is reaching a little but he does hunger for knowledge) wrath--Skipper sloth--Gilligan

That type of thematic deliberation is what happens when you have too much idle time on your hands.

Mary Ann. No doubt about it. Saw her play an Indian woman in an episode of Bonanza the other day.
Check out her moves here:

Somewhat amused (but still happy) to see that this poll has gotten more votes than any of my more serious polls...

Somewhat amused (but still happy) to see that this poll has gotten more votes than any of my more serious polls... Nothing brings happiness and unites the people of the world more than a silly 60s sitcom. I should re-watch Gilligan's Island at some point, I've been feeling down and the show might brighten my mood.
