I think it is garbage too, but I don't feel personally offended by the movie. Siskel & Ebert really jumped onto a high horse when criticizing many horror movies. What are you talking about. They loved it, praising its philosophical content and hard hitting message. Though they did say it wasn’t as good as Lawrence of Arabia

Either my no. 2 or 3. I flip flop often enough and the other one in contention is part 6 Jason Lives. But 2 4 and 6 have been my top 3 for at least the past year or so.

The audience for Part II definitely had the exaggerated swagger of an angry black film.
