Looks like it could be the best Holland film yet.

Might be the first MCU-Spiderman movie I watch. Granted, I'll mostly be watching it for MJ, Dr.S, and Garfield's Spider-Man/Peter.

Homecoming got much better for me the second viewing. Far From Home was a step down but it did much to improve Holland's romantic subplot with Zendaya and Gyllenhaal was a good villain. Plus the post-credits scene is one of the best the MCU has done.

Plus the post-credits scene is one of the best the MCU has done. I grew up a big fan of the comic book Spider-Man and I only saw the first Toby M movie, both Garfield movies (which I loved!), and barely watched the trailers for the MCU/Holland movies. One of my closest friends loves the new Spider-Man movies with Holland, so he filled me in as the movies came out, so I know who everyone is. Figured Gyllanhaal would make a good villain! Nice to hear he did.

In an interview with Variety, Garfield was again asked about his potential inclusion in No Way Home and, while he expressed fondness for working on The Amazing Spider-Man in the past, he made it emphatically clear that he had no knowledge of his involvement. Of course, he also acknowledged that nobody would believe him one way or another, cracking the door open for fans hopeful of a Spider-Men meetup. Here's his full statement regarding the rumors: "...I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I’m a fan as well. You can’t help but imagine scenes and moments of ‘Oh,
my God, how f***ing cool would it be if they did that?’” he says. “But it’s important for me to say on the record that this is not something I’m aware I am involved in. But I know I’m not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don’t know what’s happening. No matter what I say, I’m f***ed. It’s either going to be really disappointing for people or it’s going to be really exciting."

I don’t know what the purpose is in him denying it by now. It’s been an open secret since last year.

They are probably contractually obligated by Marvel, to deny deny deny deny deny deny, until someone gives them the phone call, "You may not admit that, Yes, you are in X movie. You may admit you filmed for more than a single day. You may tell them that you enjoyed the filming experience. You may NOT say anything else." I'm excited for Garfield to be back, he's my favourite big-screen Spider-Man.

Deadline's Hero Nation Podcast (via TheDirect) has reported on what Sony has planned for The Sinister Six. It seems as though they are set on building up the team once again, with the intent being a crossover with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Check out the quote below from Deadline's Anthony D'Alessandro: "Because Sony's always kept, outside of the current Spider-Man stuff they're doing with the Disney MCU, Sony's always kept their Marvel stuff separate, and with this Venom, they're actually going to connect to the Spider-Man universe [that's being set-up with the] Disney MCU. So that's very interesting. I know one of their long-term goals is to make Sinister Six . That's kinda the project we're all waiting for; their version of the bad guys from the Spider-Man [universe]."
