Well I was considering some of the teen films that came out then (Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Tuff Turf) I think those really stand out for true to life characters. But like I said I really could see any time period have those.

But like I said I really could see any time period have those. I don't disagree, those films were all about characters who felt like real people.

Name one popular horror movie from the 1980s that you're not fond of despite its acclaim. An American Werewolf in London. I dont hate it but I never really liked it. The effects are fantastic though so I have some respect for it.

The effects are fantastic though so I have some respect for it. I like that movie myself, but feel the exactly as you stated about another famous 1981 werewolf horror - The Howling.

An American Werewolf in London. I dont hate it but I never really liked it. The effects are fantastic though so I have some respect for it. I like that movie myself, but feel the exactly as you stated about another famous 1981 werewolf horror - The Howling. I can see that. I gave both 5/10.

How often are you able to guess the identity of the killer(s) in a movie? (When it's supposed to be a secret, of course.) I just did when I saw Spiral: From the Book of Saw last month. Otherwise not too often.
