I say yay overall. Not the biggest Tarantino fan and find is dialogue to get on my nerves. Tony Scott adds a kinetic energy to the film and the cast really helps elevate it. Though I probably have to watch the Gary Oldman scenes again with subtitles. I always liked Christian Slater as a leading man. The actual “romance” aspect though is rushed

Big Yay. I always have this close to my top 5-10.
All the characters that come in and out for the most part are memorable, and I thought Slater and Arquette had great chemistry that really let me buy into their relatively fast falling in love.

Can I say nyay? The supporting cast is excellent and there's a lot of memorable scenes, but I think Slater was miscast and Arquette shrill and annoying. Scott's direction is also a little overstylized when Tarantino's simple approach would have worked better.
