James Corden Gets Roasted For Blocking Traffic Dressed As Pelvic-Thrusting Mouse
Corden and his “Cinderella” castmates teamed up for a bizarre stunt in Los Angeles to promote the movie.
The stars of the upcoming live-action “Cinderella” movie banded together for a bizarre and somewhat unsettling attempt to promote the movie.
A costumed Camila Cabello, James Corden, Idina Menzel and Billy Porter ― along with a group of background dancers ― held up traffic at a Los Angeles intersection while singing Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud” in a video shared by the Twitter account “Film Updates” on Saturday.
While some people may have found this festive and fun, the stunt mostly received derision and rage on Twitter. Out of the cast members, Corden got the brunt of the mockery, probably because he was the one dressed as a mouse and thrusting his pelvis at the air.
This crap makes Mark Pillow dressing like Nuclear Man for the Superman IV premiere not look so bad.

You have to wonder if he caused anybody to be late for work that day because of his road antics blocking traffic. What if he delayed an ambulance that was carrying a dying person inside it? What if he delayed a fire truck that was racing to a fire?

What if he delayed a fire truck that was racing to a fire? As far as I can tell, they only performed in front of red lights, so they probably weren’t actually stopping traffic. That doesn’t make it any less embarrassing, though.

It's not really film work he is/was best known for, but it's what he's most seen in. What propelled him into the spotlight were two very successful shows which were hits in the West End and Broadway (and where he won a Tony for best actor) and for co-creating/writing/starring in 3 series of a very popular British sitcom. He is talented. He's just very annoying to some people as well.

This kind of stunt has been done numerous times on his show with different stars. He's done it before in LA, New York and London. And it's always during a red light. It just seems this one time someone took some footage on their phone and posted it online
