I think I'm starting to hate Kyle Shanahan as much as Belichick when it comes to his personnel decisions. The decision to not play Aiyuk today was a killer. Are you kidding me? Where was all this before my draft? It's brutal. I'm too sick to go back to my draft and see who else was there when I picked him.

I got the win in week one thanks to solid performances by Lamar and Waller.  Started week 2 off with a nice game from Terry McLaurin. Lamar Jackson vs Chiefs Terry McLaurin vs Giants - 16.7 Jakobi Meyers @ Jets CMC vs Saints Kareem Hunt vs Texans Darren Waller @ Steelers Latavius Murray vs Chiefs Rod Blankenship vs Rams Buccaneers DEF vs Falcons Torn between Tyler Boyd and Meyers. OBJ is out again (great draft pick) and no way I'm trusting Aiyuk until he, I don't know, gets A SINGLE TARGET. Also picked up Mark Ingram in place of Pittman because I seriously needed RB depth. |

I won thanks to huge performances by Lamar, CMC, and the Bucs defense. Ruggs exploded on my bench but it didn’t matter. That leaves sdm as the only 2-0 team in my league.
Picked up Rondale Moore on waivers in place of Jakobi Meyers. I like Meyers but I prefer an explosive rookie in Kyler Murray’s 2021 offense over a guy catching passes from the capable, though less trigger-happy Mac Jones.

So after Aaron Jones carried me last week my team now falls to 1-2 but my team did put up an impressive fight with the 2nd highest score of the week at 156.16 but sadly I'm playing the guy who put up the #1 score at 174.24. He had 4 guys score 25 plus. I had a 9 point lead but then he had Zeke going. I was doomed outside of injury.

I just picked up Nyheim Hines in nothing but a mad, desperate prayer. It's him and Michael Carter (that's right, a Jet) to the rescue...

In one of my leagues, it's a 12 teamer, I'm 2nd in points WITH McCafferey on IR, yet I'm 2-5. The team that just beat me is 5-2 and I have like 60 more points on the season. 3 of the games I lost I was 2nd in points that week and just happened to be playing the 1 guy that was 1st in points each time. Some years it just ain't in the cards. Ok, rant over!
